An Arc: Key to Freedom, Volume 1

Now I will share with you Permutation Four. It is by in large my favorite worldline I've ever landed in. I apologize, in advanced, too, because my common referenced reality with you is going to be invaded here soon by other matters. And if I don't get through with all of my wisdom, I want to detail this permutation more richly than others to do it justice.

As you might have guessed by certain hints I've dropped (or if you're good at word play and zeroed into the hidden title to this piece) this permutation has adopted anarchy as it's mode of operation.

No, no, trust me, it's not what you think.

I'll dispel some myths along the way, and you'll soon understand that unless you like being a slave anarchy is not only feasible, it's truly the only way for a species to get along with it's self and others.

But as some may already be saying, it'll never happen. And as you are now, it will not and nor can it. Of course, though, your attitude is the biggest factor in holding back this change. Have I not encouraged you enough? Helped you decide to get over strife and accept things as they are, and call out the poor actions instead of attacking individuals? If not, now you know my ulterior motive.

"Thought Bubble"

I'm opening that old side to myself,

Even through all my wear and tear and chasing it away,

It decided to stay. What does it want, may we inquire?

I believe the events that will transpire-

Will show its true colors...

My thoughts beating passionately,

Something powerful is lurking in this state.

Anger and violation my only known commands,

I want that God-hand; Smack down all the assholes

All the assholes that messed with me.

What am I to be? Thoughtless, brainless.

Retaliation only means I have something to prove,

Go down to their level and make dealings with the Ignorance Devil.

I'm beyond this, I'm through this.

Wait tonight, wait tomorrow, wait never.

We've all endured those times we care not to remember.

But to forget and move on all the same is denying where you've been,

Lacking definition my personality would become straight and dull.

Break off a piece when you needed release, don't play this game with me!

Dipshits, nitwits, sick of this!

I want to give in! I want to give in!

I'll turn to beating upon myself,

Is this what you thought you'd gain: beauty and bliss?

Think you're a butterfly, well I think its time for this zeitgeist to die!)

Beating on, the thoughts consume. They would engulf me but I posses something greater. I no longer deny the beauty of humanity!

There's a thought I'm creating here, a thought that life isn't about a career or even knowing where to steer. Life is about just that, living. And forgiving, experiencing, desiring, pleasuring, tasting, breaking, hating, laughing...

A bubble forming, its growing so big its going to burst.

I thirst for only one more object, one more need.

To be me, to no longer bleed.

I need to explain myself further, I feel. Because if you've not seen the common threads through out 3100 Years Later, it's time for the points to be driven home.

• You are precious, your life and consciousness is a gift not to be wasted.
• Strife comes in all forms, but it's basic root is in tyranny.
• You cannot harm me or wipe the smile from my face.
  
• I will never attempt to guide you in any direction you don't want to go.
• If you feel the need to abuse someone, I'm your proverbial punching bag.

Your civilization has, again, changed through out time. If evolution is not yet adequately explained through biology, social evolution is definitely a truth.

The very idea, you see, that society at large changes slowly is by in large correct. It took generations to get from Biblical times to your consumer funded current zeitgeist.

However, as many cultures and historical lessons have strove to show you collectively, there are many instances in your species' time here that will either prove to set you back or catapult you forward.

Today and tomorrow is that time for you now.

Let's review your civilization's adaptations to population explosion and resource sharing, shall we?

• Tribal life; There is nothing anyone owns and all things are to be seen as a sacred gift and used wisely. Not to waste anything you have to.
• Fiefdom Rule; The fall of Rome, a Nation not unlike your First World governments right now gave way to pure unadulterated chaos. Between global climate changes and a plague, most of Western society was brought to a halt until people congregated in Kingdoms and took leaders. They worked hard, for little materialistic gain, in an effort to improve generations later.
• Industrialization; Discover, patent, protect, sell, repeat. Milk, repeat, milk, repeat, make a new product, repeat whole process just described again.

As you can see, you're at a stand still. Yes, technology has evolved, you've now plenty of toys and entertainment.

But if you do not walk through this node of space-time happy, content, and loving...Rome will fall again, and possibly quite soon. (Hey, I'm not here to make direct predictions, just universal ones.)

Divided we stand, united we fall.

A million faces, each a million lies.

For each and all, a chrome disguise.
Prompts for action, force reaction,
Embody promise in a sheen so pure.
Hurt, the measure of blind ambition,
the testament to your singular disease.
Against all wisdom you heed no warning,
your desires giving you away.

If I could change your mind,
I wouldn't save you from the path you wander.
In desperation dreams, any soul can set you free.

Burning innocence, the fire to set you free.

Your actions turn conquest to dust.

Importance of fate, you foolishly place trust.
Sense fear in your broken breathing.
Resort to shadows till your body expires.

All creation has the promise of Heaven,
and still you travel the road to Hell.

I'm saying nothing for the good of myself,
but I'm still talking and you're not listening.
